Connor's First Fourth of July

We had a really fun first Fourth of July with Connor. On Friday night we took him to the fireworks. He slept through half of the show and was fascinated by the other half. Most of the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing, cooking out and spending time with family and friends. Monday morning we watched a wacky parade that goes right by our front door. We have a roller!

I really can't believe how big he is getting! It is amazing how quickly he is changing. He has gone from smiling and small giggles to full on shrieking and huge belly laughs. Of course, he chooses not to laugh on video, but we will get it one of these days!

He is completely rolling over. He started rolling from his back to his belly at 10 weeks and would only do it sporadically (and I'm can't help but wonder if he did it by accident), but by 11 weeks he had rolled from his belly to his back and now at 12 weeks he is rolling over all the time. As a result of his newfound skill, we had to stop swaddling him at night so that if he rolled while he was sleeping, he has his arms free. I was nervous that this would lead to a regression in his sleeping, but he made the transition effortlessly. He is such an easygoing kid - it really amazes me. He still doesn't sleep all night, but some nights he does about 12 hours with just one break to eat, so I can't complain about that.
